University of London Boat Club Association
The Association organizes supporter's activities and raises funds to support student rowing. Most of the funding comes from regular subscriptions from former rowers and grants from the ARA. Students can join at the special rate of £10, but we now have many donors who give in excess of £500 each year.
We specially recognize Purple Donors who give between £101 and £300 per annum.
Purple Patrons who give over £300 per annum.
Please feel no pressure to pay more than you can afford, but do bear in mind that the Association has a mailing list of 600 people who have rowed for UL. Of these only just over half subscribe and the average subscription is £45. If each person on the list gave only £100 a year (£8.50 a month) this would generate an income stream (taking into account Gift Aid) of well over £60,000 pa. That would transform UL rowing.
